Meg holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland and a Master’s Degree in Special Education (Intensive Intervention) from Vanderbilt University. Meg is currently a NYC Department of Education special education teacher in an elementary Integrated Co-Taught (ICT) classroom. She has experience as a SETSS provider at the K-3 and 6th grade levels, and as an ICT special education teacher in various elementary grades (1-6). In addition to teaching, Meg has been tutoring students individually in academic subjects and executive functioning for the past nine years. In her reading sessions, she delivers systematic, explicit instruction aligned with The Science of Reading and Orton Gillingham methodology. As an avid reader herself, she loves to help students develop a lifelong love of reading.
